Next Stage Choir was formed in 2010 and is led by its professional Musical Director, Russell Scott and is made of up around 140 singers of all ages. It is UK-based in Marlow, St. Albans and Aylesbury.

Though the choir is run alike other traditional choirs, its focus is on non-classical music in a fun and dynamic environment where vocal development and skill is as important as the development of the choir itself.

The choir works to a very high standard and has a wide, and constantly expanding repertoire from classical to pop, from musicals to gospel, and everything between!

Since its conception, the choir has continued to develop and broaden its repertoire, building a reputation for its friendliness, progression and its continued determination to be the best it

can be.

The choir has been featured on BBC Radio 3, Absolute Radio, as well as local radio. The choir has performed at Cadogan Hall in London, the UK Choir Festival, Meraki Festival, as well as charity and community events including Aylesbury Waterside Festival, the Marlow Regatta, Aylesbury Live in the Park and St. Albans Street Festivals.

The choir has sung in Austria, Sweden and toured Arizona in its first US tour in 2022, opening up a an MLB Baseball, performing in a 9/11 Concert and appearing live on US TV.

The choir performed at the Berlin Philharmonie in 2023 and is shortly recording its 4th album at Abbey Road Studios in London in October.
